We never get stuck in traffic and every passenger is guaranteed a comfortable seat. Choose your spot either in our climate-controlled cabin, or feel the breeze from our open back deck. Admire the views as you make your way to and from work.
Perfect for working on-the-go, Wi-Fi is available at select piers and you’ll still receive mobile phone signal (including 4G or 5G) whilst on board. On most vessels, you'll find a fully-licensed café bar; so you can perk up your morning with barista-made coffee, or unwind in the evening with something a little stronger if you like!
All our vessels and piers are step-free and wheelchair accessible except for Cadogan, London Bridge City and Wandsworth Riverside Quarter piers. Find out more

There are toilets with accessible facilities on board most of the fleet. Our larger boats also have baby changing tables.

Flexible ticketing options
Paying for River Bus travel is easy!
You can pay as you go by touching in as you board our vessels, and touching out as you disembark, using an Oyster or contactless payment card.
More ticket options, including flexible carnets and season tickets, provide considerable savings for regular and semi-regular River Bus users and can be bought on our app. Tickets bought through the Thames Clippers Tickets App are available instantly. All you have to do is show the tickets on your smartphone to crew as you board.

Where we go
Glide straight through the heart of the capital.
From Putney in the west to Barking Riverside in the east, our services call at 24 piers across London. At major piers including Canary Wharf, London Bridge City, Battersea Power Station and London Eye (Waterloo), our services depart every 10-20 minutes during commuter times.
From Woolwich (Royal Arsenal) Pier, our RB1 service can whisk you to work at Canary Wharf in 30 minutes, or London Bridge in 40 minutes. Our RB6 service sails directly to Canary Wharf via the City from Putney Pier.

Customers with a TfL Travelcard save ⅓ on their River Bus fare and many major National Rail stations are a short walk from River Bus piers.

Soar across the Thames from ExCeL, then sail into town aboard the River Bus. The IFS Cloud Cable Car connects North Greenwich Pier to the Royal Docks.
